The Canadian Poster Book

The first full-length examination of Canadian poster art. The Canadian Poster Book grew out of Robert Stacey’s experience as manager of a Toronto poster gallery and as the organizer of the 100 Years of the Poster in Canada exhibition for the Art Gallery of Ontario. The hundreds of posters and broadsides illustrated and discussed were chosen both for historical importance and aesthetic quality. The book covers all the major applications and developments of this exciting medium.
